Elevate Hang Time In Your Hammock

Let's be honest, we all need to create our own sanctuary after a long week or season.  What better way to do so by spending a relaxing time in your hammock?  It really doesn't get much better than that!

It doesn't matter the design or style, a hammock is therapeutic and relaxing to hangout and unwind.  Allow your hammock to sweep you away to a peaceful state of mind.

One of our favorite hammocks the Fringe Tassel Hammock is not only visually appealing, it is also handwoven with ultra soft cotton, by artisans in Mexico.  It is the perfect retreat to kick up your feet, for a full body recline.

HANGING YOUR HAMMOCK SAFELY

Your hammock should be an appropriate distance apart and sturdy enough to hold your weight.

Ideally, your suspension should be on a 30-degree angle. This provides enough slack so your weight won’t put too much force on the hammock, suspension equipment, and anchor points when you sit.

Make sure you have the correct outdoor hammock hardware to assemble to a tree or porch.

HAMMOCK CARE TIPS

Hammocks need regular cleaning, especially if used regularly and left outside. If you keep your hammock clean, you can maintain its appearance, prevent dirt buildup, bug infestations, and mildew growth.
The first step in your hammock cleaning effort is to shake dirt off. Doing so will get rid of any particulate build-up that’s settled on the materials.
For hammocks with non-removable spreader bars, lay the hammock flat on a clean surface.  Spray it down with a hose.  Then, scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush and a mild detergent or soap.  Next, spray stains with a remover to help treat stubborn spots.  Rinse the hammock off thoroughly with your hose.  Lastly, hang your hammock to dry outside, either hanging from a stand or a tree if possible.
Some hammocks are machine washable {Fringe Tassel Hammock} so you can wash these on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang them out to dry just like your laundry.
We are summer ready!  Are you?
