Last weekend, we ventured to The Hamptons to visit The Hampton Designer Showhouse in Southampton, NY. The Designer Showhouse is happening now through Sunday, Septermber 25th, 11am - 5pm.
We were finally able to see it in person this year, and meet some of the amazing 2022 designers and artists selected to participate. There's lots of inspiration from one room to the next.
Let's just jump right into it, as I share beautiful design aesthetics from some very talented interior designers, and what I love about every room. What a treat this experience has been!
HAMPTON DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE | SOUTHAMPTON, NYWe love a traditional room. Amy Kummer Interiors hit it right out of the park with her bedroom design. The chartreuse lampshades are bright and colorful, the perfect pop of color. They're fantastic. You can never go wrong with using the same print as wallpaper, window coverings, and bolster pillows. This is a cozy and pretty room. Just kick up your feet after a long day, grab a book and relax in your corner blush velvet sofa, with fringe. Not too fancy for us.

A girls room can be tricky when you want to express softness but transitional. Kim Tomasino Interiors used blush pink as the focal point color and we love every inch of this room. It's pink on pink on pink! The textured draped ceiling sealed the deal. Adding texture with wicker chairs and wicker lamps balances the softness of this room. We love the wood beams in the room that bring a little farmhouse and cozy to this space. It allows for a nice transition as this lucky girl gets older.

When it comes to timeless, elegant and sophisticated interiors, Barbara Ostrom Associates adds beauty with the unexpected. This bedroom's soft tones with bold objects gives the space sophistication with a twist. The robins egg blue with champagne color palette is delicate and beautiful. Adding this gorgeous sculptured mirror headboard is the unexpected twist!
Café curtains are making a comeback! We love them in this stunning Primary Bathroom. They're the perfect alternative to Roman and Roller Shades.
